Q: How do I start a team?

A: As a Team Captain, it is easiest to establish your team before your teammates register for John Hancock Fenway Fantasy Day. After agreeing to our fundraising and cancellation policies, you will be prompted to select one of three options: "Start a Team," "Join a Team," or "Join as an Individual." Choose "Start a Team" and follow the on-screen instructions. After your team name is registered, other members of your team can register under this name by choosing the "Join a Team" option and selecting your team name from the available list. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.

Q: How many players can be on a team?
A: There can be up to 7 players on each team. If you have more than 7 players on your team, please contact us at and we would be happy to make special arrangements.

Q: Can I register as an individual player and not as part of a team?
A: Absolutely! Please select "Join as an Individual" during the registration process and choose an individual batting, fielding, or full inning package. The Jimmy Fund will assign you with other participants during John Hancock Fenway Fantasy Day.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: The cancellation policy is as follows:

"If I register for the event I am obligated to submit the fundraising minimum. I understand that I will be responsible for the fundraising minimum whether I participate on event day or not. The registration fee is non-refundable."

Please note: Each participant is required to agree to the above policy at the time of registration.

Q: Once I have registered, can I change any of my registration information?
A: After you register, you can change your personal or contact information, switch teams, or join a team by following these steps:

  • Access your personal headquarters (HQ) online by clicking the link that says "Main Login" under "My HQ," found in the left-hand navigation bar on the Fantasy Day website. Enter your username and password
  • You'll now be on your personal fundraising page. Click "Edit my profile" under the "To-do list" heading in the upper right-hand corner
  • Edit the appropriate information
  • Click "Update" on the bottom of the screen to make sure your changes are saved

Q: How will I be notified when someone registers online and joins my team?
A: If you are a Team Captain, you can quickly review your team participants by logging into the "My HQ" section online and clicking on the "Check Reports" link.

Q: Can I choose what time I will bat and/or field?
A: Although the Jimmy Fund will do its best to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee a specific time and you may receive a batting and/or fielding spot at anytime during the day between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST.

Q: Is there an age restriction for the on-field participants?
A: Yes, all fielding participants must be 15 years or older at the time of the event. There is not an age restriction for batting participants. There is a batting tee available for participants to use if requested.
